Across the Spider-Verse Trailer #3 Reveals Multiverse Action & Spider-Cat

The latest trailer for the highly anticipated animated sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, reveals a whole host of new footage as well as glimpses at more of the various variants set to enter the fray when Miles Morales falls back into the madness of the multiverse. And, of course, this includes Spider-Cat. Check out the new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse below courtesy of Sony Pictures.

Alongside Spider-Cat and the rest of the Spider-Force, a vast array of variants that Miles will have to do battle with if he hopes to save his loved ones, the new footage also gives us a better look at D-list supervillain The Spot, who is expected to make waves in both Across the Spider-Verse and its follow-up, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.

“Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” reads the official synopsis. “After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.”

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is seemingly swinging towards box office success, with the sequel projected to earn at least $85 million domestically within the first three days of release. More than double the $35.4 million brought in by its Oscar winning predecessor.
