Arnold Schwarzenegger lands the perfect job in a new Netflix promo. One of the most accomplished action stars of all time, the Austrian actor has starred in Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator franchise, Commando, The Running Man, Predator, Total Recall, and True Lies. At 75 years of age, Schwarzenegger’s next project is his first leading role in a TV series, Netflix’s FUBAR, in which he stars as an aging CIA operative on the edge of retirement who, after learning a family secret involving his daughter (played Top Gun: Maverick‘s Monica Barbaro), is called back into action for one final mission.
Now, Netflix has released a new promo announcing that Schwarzenegger has accepted a job as their Chief Action Officer. In the two-minute promo, Schwarzenegger presents the streaming service’s current and upcoming slate of action movies and TV shows. Check it out below:
The promo opens with Schwarzenegger rolling up to Netflix’s headquarters and over a Mercedes in a military-grade tank before crawling out of the hatch and proclaiming, “No one loves action as much as I do.” Netflix’s new honorary CAO goes on to hype up the streamer’s upcoming action slate, promising bigger explosions and the “biggest action on Earth.”
