Never Have I Ever‘s final season premiere is nearing and in anticipation of the show’s return, Netflix is unveiling the trailer which is teasing plenty of teen drama for Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and her friends for Senior year.
Along with unveiling a brand new poster and images from the final chapter, the trailer is answering some major questions about Devi and Ben’s (Jaren Lewison) cliffhanger ending last season and Paxton’s (Darren Barnet) fate post-graduation. The show, which tracks first-generation Indian American teen Devi’s coming-of-age story will drop its final season beginning Thursday, June 8 on Netflix.
As fans may recall, Season 3 ended with Devi showing up at on-again-off-again nemesis and love interest Ben’s door with a “one free boink” card, that is seemingly redeemed in the trailer as things go from romantic to awkward between the two. “Well, we did it,” Devi says in an unsure tone laying in bed next to Ben.
This sets the tone for the rest of the trailer as Devi embarks on her final year of high school alongside pals Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez). Also by Devi’s side? Her mother Nalini (Poorna Jagannathan), her cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani), and her grandmother Nirmala (Ranjita Chakravarty). Plus, new student Ethan (Love, Victor‘s Michael Cimino) catches Devi’s eye in her final year.
And don’t forget about Paxton, who is returning to high school, for reasons yet-to-be-revealed. Ranging from prom to graduation, many milestones remain ahead for the characters at the heart of this series, which is teased in the trailer, above, and the photos, below.
Created and executive produced by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the latter serves as Never Have I Ever‘s showrunner. Season 4 will consist of 10 half-hour episodes not-to-be-missed. Get your peeks at Season 4 here ahead of the premiere date, and relive all of the hilarious high school hijinks by streaming Seasons 1 through 3 on Netflix in the meantime.
