Selling Sunset season 6 has an upcoming Netflix premiere, and after Selling Sunset’s season 5 surprises, it’s much anticipated. Jason Oppenheim revealed Selling Sunset season 6 is the best yet, and a teaser trailer and premiere date arrived nearly a year after the last season aired. Similar to the previous season, there will be some new faces, familiar cast members, and some who won’t return. Regardless, Selling Sunset season 6 is bound to be as dramatic as previous seasons.
Selling Sunset features real-estate agents from the Oppenheim Group selling luxury properties in Los Angeles. Run by brothers Jason and Brett Oppenheim, the siblings hire beautiful, driven women as high-end real estate agents to sell properties for the group. Notable cast members include former soap opera star Chrishell Stause, bubbly blonde Heather El Moussa, and the series villain Christine Quinn, who’s not returning this season.
Selling Sunset Season 6 Release Date & How Episodes Will Drop
Selling Sunset season 6 is set to drop on May 19, 2023. According to People, there will be 11 episodes in total. The last season of Selling Sunset also has 11 episodes; however, the eleventh one was a reunion, which aired on a later date. Selling Sunset season 6 will likely drop ten episodes on May 19, along with an additional reunion episode at a later date. However, this has not been confirmed by Netflix.
Selling Sunset Season 6 Cast
​​​​​​Chrishell Stause, Heather El Moussa, Davina Potratz, Mary Fitzgerald, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, and Amanza Smith are all returning to Selling Sunset season 6, as seen in the Netflix trailer. Of course, Brett and Jason will also return. Christine’s not returning as she announced her exit from the Oppenheim Group and Selling Sunset last year. Although she cites bullying as the cause of her departure, Christine couldn’t outrun her lies any longer.
Maya Vander is also not returning to Selling Sunset season 6 as Maya recently announced she was pregnant with her third child after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage. Along with Christine and Maya, Vanessa Villela is not returning this season as well. The two new names joining Selling Sunset season 6 are Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young. Bre is the mother of one of Nick Cannon’s many children and wants to build her career. Nicole is an old friend of Jason and Mary Fitzgerald’s and was slated to appear on Selling Sunset season 1. Regardless, she will now become a familiar face in the upcoming season.
Besides real estate agents, there are rumors about partners appearing as cast members in Selling Sunset season 6. According to People, Heather’s husband, Tarek El Moussa, and Romain Bonnet, Mary’s husband, will appear. Jason’s German model girlfriend, Marie-Lou Nurk, will appear, and it will be fascinating to continue to see Jason and Chrishell’s dynamic post-breakup. Since Chrishell and G Flip got married in May 2023, fans are also eager to see their relationship unfold onscreen.
Although Christine will be missed, exciting new connections and beautiful real estate will return the show to its entertaining roots. After waiting a year and suffering through last season, primarily focused on the group versus Christine dynamic, exploring new group relationships and watching the fresh drama unfold will be refreshing. The ladies of the Oppenheim Group are sure to deliver.
