Green fanaticism kills whales, and no progressive cares

Save the whales . . . from climate freaks!

Building vast offshore wind farms (supposedly the future of power generation) is creating a “death zone” for whales, warns ex-Greenpeace honcho Patrick Moore.

This comes after four minke whales died in four days off the East Coast, the latest of 36 dead whales washing ashore there since Dec. 1.

Massive construction projects in the middle of a pristine natural environment cause harm?

You’d think the lefties behind the push for offshore wind would’ve thought of that.

Indeed, greens have used just that concern against all manner of crucial energy projects, from the TVA’s Tellico Dam to the development that the Biden administration has kiboshed in Alaska.

Yet now it seems real harm is actually happening — in this case, the deaths of dozens of creatures that may well be sentient — and the progs suddenly don’t care.

That wind power is expensive and unreliable, i.e. not a path forward on the climate, only makes the deaths pointless, and so sadder still.

Yet even Moore’s own former organization is furiously denying there could be any connection at all.

Green hypocrisy knows no bounds.

John Kerry’s carbon-bonanza private flights, indeed the packs of private jets flying to every global climate conference, are proof enough of that.

Of course these fanatics would rather murder innocent whales than give up on their fantasies.
