How To Beat Fractured Momentum Force Tear

There are several Force Tears scattered throughout Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and while the majority consists of various combat challenges, some have an interesting platform challenge awaiting Cal. Each one is very different but has the same basic objective of using various agility abilities to reach the end of a linear-style course.

Unlike the Jedi: Survivor‘s Fractured Resolve Force Tear, which primarily focuses on Cal’s running and jumping, Fractured Momentum focuses on the ziplining done with BD-1. During this challenge, Cal will have to move between different ziplines to avoid various obstacles. It can be found in Smuggler’s Tunnel on Koboh.

Merrin’s Magick Charm, given by Merrin, should be unlocked before attempting to complete this Force Tear as it cannot be reached with the ability to dash through barriers, and the Force Tear itself requires this ability as well.

Best Strategy & Tips For Fractured Momentum

The first thing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players will need to remember is that the zip lines are strategically laid out to help Cal avoid the various obstacles. The first one that will be encountered is a barrier, in which half is red, and the other half is green. Cal will need to drop and grab onto a new line before the one he is on ends at the red barrier. Now the next thing in Cal’s path will be several glowing blue orbs of energy moving down the ziplines. There are two methods to avoiding these, the first is just to attempt to jump over them and grab back on, but if the jump isn’t timed correctly, Cal could fail.

Instead, simply let go of the line right as the ball reaches so it will glide over Cal and then jump and dash to grab back onto the line on the other side. This method has a smaller room for error than attempting to jump, but regardless, just be sure to avoid the orbs however possible, as touching one results in an instant failure of this Force Tear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. After that first barrier, grab onto the zipline on the left, dodge the orb by jumping to the right, and then use the above method to avoid the orbs on that line. Once at the end of that line, turn the direction back towards following the orb.

Now that Cal is on the zipline, following the direction of the orbs, there will be another zipline up and to the left. This one will have green barriers moving along it, and the objective is to attempt to beat the barrier so Cal can jump up, turn around, and face the barrier coming at him. Once he’s done this, he can jump up and dash through them before grabbing back onto the line again. Repeat these various patterns of jumping through barriers as they’re coming at Cal and letting go to avoid the orbs until Cal can reach the last zipline, which will carry him to a platform that signifies the end of this challenge in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Once the Force Tear is completed, Cal will receive a Skill point in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which he can then use to acquire new skills to help him on the rest of his journey. Additionally, whenever the map is opened, there will be an indicator showing the location of the Force Tear with a little check on it to signify that it has been completed. Players can now continue their playthrough and track down one of the many other Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Force Tear challenges waiting for them. Completing all of them will unlock the “Blood, Sweat, And Tears” Achievement, a noble feat.
