Natalie Lee and Deepti Vempati reveal they have monetized greatly off of their Love Is Blind appearances and even dish on the exact numbers. Natalie and Deepti were both fan favorites of Love Is Blind season 2, and although neither said “I do,” they have maintained their large social media followings. Understanding their position, they created a podcast where they chat about currently airing episodes and other fun reality TV topics—they even spill some tea from time to time. The co-stars turned co-hosts also began bringing on other Love Is Blind formers to interview after season 4 ended.
Love Is Blind’s Natalie and co-host Deepti recently discussed how they tackled the social media influencing game. On the episode of Out Of The Pods, Natalie started the conversation by asking Deepti how much she has made to date from brand deals. Deepti declined to disclose the exact amount but said she has earned “well over six figures.”
Deepti also revealed that she once made $60,000 from one Instagram reel. Natalie commented, “I have made three times my corporate salary…in less than a year. The Love Is Blind alums then chatted briefly about how the number of followers an influencer has doesn’t matter, contrary to popular belief.
Love Is Blind Fans Are Stunned By The Numbers
Shortly after the Out Of The Pods episode aired, fans couldn’t help but take to Reddit to discuss the crazy numbers Natalie and Deepti so comfortably revealed. Redditor Xquisitesanity wrote, “This is life changing money.” Some fans expressed anger toward the concept of reality TV stars monetizing from their appearances, but many disagreed, and appreciated their transparency. “I love that they share all this info and are open about all kinds of things about their LIB experiences, u/Roseheath22 added. Another section of the comments included people admitting they would do the same, with some chiming in to say they’d promote just about anything for that kind of money.
Natalie and Deepti are not the only former reality TV stars to use their platforms to influence and monetize, but they may be the only ones to talk about it. Many social media influencers wouldn’t dare to disclose the details and how to’s of the industry, but that’s why fans appreciate Natalie and Deepti. For those who do not have the ability to accept brand deals, the nitty-gritty is a big question mark, and they provided the answers. Both were sure to defend the predicted accusations that they joined a dating show simply to gain influencer status, saying they had no idea they would ever have the opportunity.
The ability to monetize is a great thing for reality TV stars, and it wouldn’t make sense to ignore the opportunity. It would be irrational to think that no contestants have ever joined a show simply for influencer status, but Natalie and Deepti don’t fit into that category. If they were, they wouldn’t have been as open about their experience with brand deals and how much income it generates for them. Love Is Blind fans are aware that its stars accept influencer deals, but to be made aware of the numbers is shocking and interesting.
