Melissa Gorga, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, set the record straight once and for all when it comes to her future with the Real Housewives franchise. Melissa has been in a heated battle with her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, for years, which has made for good TV. However, the constant fighting has left her and her family mentally drained.
While speaking out on her podcast, On Display, The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Melissa Gorga got real about what she recently said about her time in the spotlight. The mother of three recently said she wasn’t sure what Bravo was going to do regarding her future on RHONJ, but now she’s taking a firmer stance and saying she has no intention of leaving the reality show. Melissa stated loud and clear that she was “not leaving” RHONJ despite ongoing issues with Teresa, adding, “I never run away when the going gets tough; that’s not my personality.”
Melissa Gorga & Teresa Giudice RHONJ Feud Continues
Melissa joined RHONJ in 2011 and stated she has “no intentions” of leaving the East Coast series. Even though she revealed that the RHONJ season 13 reunion was rough, she shared with listeners that she has no desire to hide from the issues that have been airing this season. Melissa referred to her ongoing feud with Teresa, who helped start a fresh rumor that implied that Melissa was caught cheating on Joe Gorga in the back seat of a car.
RHONJ season 13 has shown just how hard Melissa has had it when it comes to her relationship with Teresa. After an uncomfortable trip to Dublin where Teresa blamed Antonia Gorga for not keeping up family ties with her four daughters, Melissa drew a line in the sand. She and her husband, Joe, made the decision not to attend Teresa and Louis Ruelas’ August wedding. The brother and sister are officially on the outs, with no hope of reconciliation in sight.
The most recent season of RHONJ has focused on the constant battle between Melissa, Joe, and Teresa. Even though it has been 12 years of fighting, it doesn’t seem like there will be an end to the drama, even though there has never been a positive outcome. With Melissa digging in her heels, it is almost assured that Teresa will also refuse to leave the popular series. Bravo viewers will have to tune in to watch the reunion to see how toxic their relationship really has become and where they all stand today.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
