Ramona Singer Supports New RHONY Season 14 Cast

The former OG of The Real Housewives of New York City, Ramona Singer, is giving Bravo her highest rating for their new generation of the hit show, noting the franchise will “do well.” The Singer Stinger has always been known for her brutally honest opinions, which often made for great TV moments. Even though she won’t return to hold her golden apple, she is happy to move on.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga recently had an icon on her podcast On Display as she welcomed Ramona to her recording booth. While the two housewives chatted, Ramona shared that she feels “Bravo knows what they’re doing” when it comes to recasting the series. Melissa and Ramona talked about just how the network was hoping to have a success.

Ramona Singer First Hated The Idea

The Real Housewives of New York City viewers will recall that when Ramona first heard that Bravo was revamping the show that made her famous, she called it, “the loser show.” At the time, Ramona couldn’t understand why the network was thinking of bringing cast members back that fans didn’t miss. The mother of one also called out the network for its hypocrisy when hiring back the women they had already chosen to let go.

Ramona has hinted that she would return to Bravo’s RHONY Legacy spin-off that will follow the format of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Before the New Year, Bravo tried to create a new RHONY spin-off series with the most popular New York City women, including Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona. But the show never got off the ground due to a breakdown during contract negotiations. However, the network recently announced that they will move forward with the series.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 14 will follow an entirely new group of distinct and established women. The new cast will consist of Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield. Last year, influencer Lizzy Savetsky was also announced as a full-time cast member but claimed to quit the show after she received anti-semitic backlash. However, Lizzy was allegedly forced to leave due to issues behind the scenes. Even though Ramona won’t be featured in the newest season, it looks like she is more than happy to lend her support and, dare say, have a positive outlook regarding the new women.
