Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is hunted by Kraven in Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man 4 fan poster. Holland will return for at least one more solo movie in the MCU, with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirming that Spider-Man 4‘s story is already set. With the actor soon returning as his version of the wall-crawler, fans have begun to imagine what the next chapter of Peter Parker’s MCU journey could hold.
On Instagram, artist SPIDEYVEGAS shared their vision for what Spider-Man 4 could be about, with the fan poster titling the film Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt.
The fan poster takes inspiration from one of the most beloved Spider-Man comic book stories, which saw Kraven hunt down the hero, shoot him, bury Peter, and then wear a Spider-Man costume to prove that he was better than the hero.
Could Kraven The Hunter Be In Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4?
The Spider-Man villain will soon be getting his time in the spotlight, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson leading this October’s Kraven The Hunter movie for Sony. The film takes place in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, not the MCU. That makes sense, as Taylor-Johnson played Quicksilver for Marvel Studios, with the Scarlet Witch’s brother dying to save Hawkeye in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Including Kraven in Spider-Man 4 might be difficult due to that, as audiences could have a problem with Taylor-Johnson’s return as a different character.
While that might be the case, the multiverse allows for Taylor-Johnson’s version of Kraven to make the jump to the MCU. Marvel is currently undergoing its Multiverse Saga, with characters such as Loki and Spider-Man himself seeing multiple actors portray them in the MCU. The multiverse even allowed Tom Hardy’s Venom to go from the SSU to the MCU, although the character only stayed for a very short time, appearing in the MCU through Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s post-credits scenes.
Taylor-Johnson could repeat Hardy’s experience, only for Kraven to actually play a major role in Spider-Man 4. Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s ending saw Holland’s Peter Parker be utterly alone, with his Aunt May dead and all his friends forgetting he exists due to Doctor Strange’s spell to fix the multiverse. Peter is in a very dark corner in the MCU right now, which makes it the perfect time for an adaptation of the violent and somber Kraven’s Last Hunt story. Peter getting hunted across New York by a murderous Kraven, with no one to turn to for help, would make Spider-Man 4 an unmissable movie.
