The former 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member is currently serving an 18-year prison sentence after he kidnapped and assaulted his ex-girlfriend. However, Geoffrey now has the attention of viewers due to his controversial way of making money while behind bars.
When Geoffrey appeared on Before the 90 Days, he was involved in a love triangle with Russian woman Varya Malina, and American woman Mary Wallace, his former girlfriend. Geoffrey’s past criminal actions occurred before the season filmed, so he wasn’t sentenced until after his love triangle played out on screen. 90 Day Fiancé fans kept a close eye on his case, as Geoffrey was sentenced to nearly two decades in prison after he was found guilty. Varya has controversially stood beside Geoffrey and asked viewers to support him and his family with money. However, he’s still considered a massive franchise villain, as well as a violent criminal.
Can Geoffey Paschel Film Cameos From Prison?
Reddit user u/SamyScape shared a screenshot of Geoffrey promoting the video sharing website Cameo, in which he was offering videos for $85 in Australian currency. “I’m sorry, what??!” the user asked. While many 90 Day Fiancé franchise cast members make money through Cameo videos, the fact that Geoffrey’s currently serving an 18-year prison sentence makes his choice of earning revenue controversial. However, it appears that Geoffrey could have access to a phone or recording device from his cell. “How would he even be allowed to do this?“ one of several baffled users asked. Some users speculated that he had a contraband phone.
Why 90 Day Fiancé Fans Are Against Geoffrey’s Cameo
Although Geoffrey hasn’t appeared in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise for several years and was fired from any future contact, viewers were nevertheless outraged to see him capitalizing off of his infamy for profit. “He need to stay locked up. He’s a dangerous man beating up and kidnapping his former girlfriend, and this is not his first offense,” one concerned user wrote. “How the hell is he on cameo?!?! Is jail this lenient to allow this?! I hope people don’t buy from this monster but idk why I feel like people will, which sucks,” another upset viewer shared about the convicted criminal.
While Geoffrey’s Cameo post created a stir among 90 Day Fiancé fans, some users believe the screenshots are old, though the original poster said they took the screenshots that day. However, other viewers are urging fans to report Geoffrey if his Cameo is still active. Both Geoffrey and Varya are loathed by viewers, who can’t believe their lack of remorse as both former franchise cast members plead Geoffrey’s innocence and beg fans for money. Though Geoffrey still has many years left on his prison sentence, Varya is believed to still be with him. However, neither Geoffrey nor Varya appear to have many friends left in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.
