Charity Lawson teases that The Bachelorette season 20 finale will prove to be extra emotional. Zach Shallcross broke Charity’s heart when he awarded her fourth place in The Bachelor season 27, but she excitedly accepted the second chance to find love through the franchise. The 27-year-old mental health therapist, is native to Columbus, Georgia, which is unfortunately, where her time on Zach’s season ended. Charity expressed confusion following her last rose ceremony because their hometown date went seemingly well. Viewers were excited when Charity was announced as the next Bachelorette because although her exit was devastating, she demonstrated good character throughout the season.
The Bachelorette’s Charity Lawson gives an inside scoop into her season’s highly emotional finale. Charity appeared on the Off The Vine podcast and revealed to host Kaitlyn Bristowe that she only needed a single word to describe The Bachelorette finale, “emotional.” Kaitlyn, who once stood in the same shoes, expressed understanding of her description, but Charity put an end to that thought, hinting an extra shock factor to hers.
“Put your seatbelts on!” Charity warns Bachelor nation ahead of season 20. The reality TV star insists that season 20 will feature a whirlwind of emotions for the suitors that viewers haven’t seen yet.
Bachelorette’s Charity Lawson Loves “When Men Cry”
Many would agree with Charity’s open appreciation for male vulnerability. However, The Bachelorette did go as far as to say “I just love when men cry,” in her interview on Off The Vine. It may read viciously, but it’s quite actually the opposite. Charity examines the importance of men expressing emotion and owning their vulnerability, which is something that most, like her, try to positively reinforce. She did add that viewers should have alcoholic beverages handy for the second-hand experience of their emotional conversations, but rest assured, it will be an entertaining season.
Charity has Bachelor nation fans convinced that The Bachelorette season 20 is one they don’t want to miss. The former star on the receiving end of Charity’s sneak peek is reasonable in saying that every season of the series proves to be an emotional rollercoaster, especially the finale. But Charity’s response to that really sells her thoughts without spoiling the result – this time is different. Aside from the tease that the finale will be over the top, Charity also indicates that she feels the suitors are more open than usual; perhaps the two correlate.
Charity has done her job to ensure true fans of the franchise are tuned in for the upcoming season. With the premier just around the corner, her teases are fueling the anticipation. The “emotional” finale could mean either positive or negative, but with consideration to context clues, it is leaning more toward the latter. Charity has warned, get prepared for another season of The Bachelorette that will, apparently, include more of the water works than usual.
The Bachelorette season 20 premieres Monday, June 26 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
