How to Watch Flamin’ Hot — Streaming on Disney+


Ever wondered who was responsible for bringing Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into your life? The new movie Flamin’ Hot will answer that and all of your other Hot Cheeto questions.

The film is based on the true story of Richard Montañez, a Frito Lay janitor who used his Mexican American heritage to create one of the world’s most beloved snacks. Here’s everything you need to know for streaming the movie.

How to Watch Flamin’ Hot on Streaming
Flamin’ Hot will hit both Disney+ and Hulu on Friday, June 9. So if you want to know more about your favorite, taste buds-taunting snack, you’ll have to subscribe to one of the streamers — or subscribe to both with a bundle.

Disney+ is also home to other series and movies you might like, including The Muppets Mayhem, Bluey and Peter Pan & Wendy, plus scores of TV shows and films from the worlds of Star Wars (including The Mandalorian and Andor), Marvel (WandaVision, Loki, She-Hulk), Disney (Encanto, Moana and Frozen), Pixar (Cars, Turning Red and Lightyear) and National Geographic.

Disney+ offers two different subscription tiers for accessing the service on its own, as well as three bundle options. If you sign up for Disney+, you can choose between the Basic plan (with ads) for $7.99 per month, or the Premium plan for ad-free streaming and the option to download titles for on-the-go-viewing, for $10.99 per month.

Disney+ offers three bundle options to help you save if you’re already subscribing or want to subscribe to Hulu and ESPN+. For $9.99/month, you can subscribe to the Duo Basic plan which bundles Disney+ and Hulu (both with ads). Or, opt for the Trio Basic plan which is $12.99/month and bundles Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ with ads. Now, if you want to avoid ad interruptions during Hulu and Disney+ programs, Disney offers the Trio Premium bundle for $19.99/month; that plan also offers downloadable titles for on-the-go watching. (Keep in mind, even with Trio Premium, you’ll receive ads when streaming on ESPN+.)

If the Disney programming isn’t your jam, you can opt for a Hulu subscription to gain a tase of to Flamin’ Hot when it debuts Friday, June 9.

As a Hulu subscriber, you gain access to tons of original content including Only Murders in the Building, The Kardashians, The Handmaid’s Tale, Fleishman Is in Trouble and more. Hulu also streams shows like Abbott Elementary and 9-1-1 the day after they air, as well as offers a library filled with older titles like Killing Eve and How I Met Your Mother.

What Is Flamin’ Hot About?
Flamin’ Hot tells “the inspiring story of Richard Montañez, the Frito Lay janitor who channeled his Mexican American heritage and upbringing to turn the iconic Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into a snack that disrupted the food industry and became a global pop culture phenomenon,” according to the film’s official description. The movie is directed by Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) and stars Tony Shalhoub (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as American businessman Roger Enrico and Jesse Garcia (Narcos: Mexico) as Montañez.
