Jason Momoa & Vin Diesel Shut Down Fast X Feud Rumors In Heartfelt Post

With one recent conflict finally being settled, Jason Momoa and Vin Diesel are addressing the rumors of their feuding on Fast X. Momoa starred in the latest installment of the long-running action franchise as Dante Reyes, the son of Fast Five villain Hernan, who enacts a plan of revenge against Diesel’s Dominic Toretto and his family for taking his family’s money. Fast X is expected to be the first of the final mainline Fast and Furious movies, with Diesel teasing a potential trilogy ahead of its release after an initial two-part plan.

Just shy of a month after it hit theaters, Vin Diesel took to Instagram to announce the release date for Fast & Furious 11.

In the caption for the post, as seen above, Diesel subtly addressed the rumors of his feuding with Momoa on the set of Fast X, assuring that there is “all love” among the Fast Family heading into production on “part two.” Momoa similarly shut down the rumors with a comment on the heartfelt post, saying it’s “all aloha” and expressing “mahalo for taking a chance with me boss man.”

Why The Fast & Furious Franchise Always Has Feud Rumors

Rumors of Momoa and Diesel feuding on the Fast X set isn’t the first time the Fast and Furious franchise saw word swirl of its stars not getting along during production. For the past six years, headlines have focused on Dwayne Johnson’s open disapproval of Diesel, with the Luke Hobbs actor conflicting with the star/producer over his reported excessive creative control on the movies, even spending the majority of The Fate of the Furious finding ways to not film scenes together.

Despite the frequent critiques of Diesel, namely his attempt to convince the actor to return through pleas on social media and invoking Paul Walker’s memory, Johnson finally made his proper Fast and Furious return in Fast X‘s post-credits scene. Not only did Johnson later confirm he and Diesel had squashed their feud, but it would further be announced that he would star in a new Fast and Furious spinoff bridging the next two movies rather than a sequel to his previous spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw.

Considering the sheer level of testosterone and macho personalities permeating the sets, it’s understandable there are always rumors of some kind of feud occurring on a Fast and Furious set, even if the cast try to assure the opposite is the case. With Diesel and Momoa now debunking the Fast X feud rumor and expressing excitement for getting back to work on the next movie, one can hope the future is indeed able to move past these conflicts.
