The Issue: The indictment of former President Donald Trump for mishandling classified documents.
Once again, the Justice Department and the FBI have shown how far our country has fallen into the depths of lawlessness (“Trump indicted for 2nd time,” June 9).
When the “right people” do the crime, they are above the law. When the “wrong people” do the crime, the FBI shows up at their homes.
It matters not if former President Donald Trump is guilty. Lady Justice is supposed to be blind, but the serpent at her feet shows that the evil and corruption close to home have yet to be slain.

Now that Trump has been indicted by Special Counsel Jack Smith, Republican politicians and the MAGA crowd are crying foul.
The new line is that the DOJ has been “weaponized” by the Biden administration.
Trump Republicans do not understand that Trump put America in jeopardy by removing classified documents, refusing to return them and bragging about it (and incriminated himself in the process).
Trump is not above the law. I am one Republican who will respect American national security over voting for Trump.

Let me start by saying that I am not a big fan of Trump, but I feel he was a better choice than the mumbling puppet we have now.
That said, I wonder if President Biden and former Vice President Mike Pence will also be charged for holding onto classified documents? Pence, probably. Biden, I would be surprised.
They will blame the staff, and that’s plausible. Clearly Biden doesn’t have a clue what is going on. I do feel that if he is not charged, it will only further erode the faith the citizens have in the justice system — if they have any left at all.

It’s not all that unusual today for retirees to invest their new-found freedom in a wide variety of hobbies.
While some find playing golf or gardening an ideal way to fill the void in their lives, others have found the art of collecting things to be a much more fulfilling preoccupation. Some Americans collect stamps and some coins. Surprisingly, even more people are comic-book hoarders.
Even Trump has started up a collection of sorts: The disgraced ex-president has shown a natural talent for acquiring indictments.
Granted, he only has two so far. However, he’s barely begun and already he’s surpassed every other president we’ve ever elected.

Biden and his corrupt Justice Department have shown the world that he is a coward and afraid of running against Trump.
Never in our history has a president been indicted by the administration of his opponent before an upcoming election. Disgraceful.

The Justice Department is controlled by Biden and his handlers.
In the history of this country, no other president or former president has been indicted by the opposing candidate, as Trump has.
These criminal indictments are going to make Trump more popular than ever, all the way to the presidency.
People are fed up with the two-tiered justice system wherein a conservative or Republican is charged with made-up crimes while Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Biden get away with turning up their noses at the rule of law.
What about the records found in Joe’s garage and elsewhere? What about Clinton deleting thousands of e-mails on her private server? When are those people going to be indicted?

Love Trump or not, it is time for the Republican Party to unite behind him. It’s time to drain the swamp.
This man, who has been charged with violating the Espionage Act, loves this country more than corrupt Biden and his entire administration.
It seems whenever a Democratic president leaves office, he becomes a multimillionaire. It is time to “make American great again.”
