Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the declined 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the were Sadr Logistics Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.95% or 0.44 points to trade at 4.86 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:) added 5.92% or 2.85 points to end at 51.00 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) was up 5.71% or 1.14 points to 21.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.93% or 1.76 points to trade at 15.96 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 9.62% or 0.10 points to end at 0.94 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 5.96% or 4.70 points to 74.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 137 to 118 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.92% or 2.85 to 51.00. Shares in Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.71% or 1.14 to 21.10.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.27% or 0.87 to $69.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.22% or 0.89 to hit $74.09 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.85 to trade at $1,968.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.68% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 102.08.
