Every TV Series Coming to AMC+ in September 2023

With each month’s end, we’re perpetually reminded that another month is approaching, which is both a good and a bad thing. The bad thing is that you grow one month every thirty days, but the good news is that you get to watch more exciting TV shows as time moves on. Especially if it’s AMC+, you will have some genuinely gripping shows to look forward to, depending on what you enjoy watching.

For instance, AMC+ has been streaming Dark Winds for a while, which increased its viewership by 146% after its debut (according to Variety), and it is continuously increasing over time. Furthermore, the latest additions to the streamer in August 2023, such as Lodge 49 and Pierce Brosnan’s The Son, have also played a significant role in viewership increase.

If you are done watching these shows, you have plenty more to look forward to in the coming month. With that in mind, here’s a list of every TV series coming to AMC+ in September 2023.

Broken Trail (Sep. 1)

AMC

Broken Trail, produced by AMC, is a two-part Western drama series set in the late 1800s. The series has earned four Primetime Emmys, out of which two were for Outstanding Miniseries and Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, with the rest going to the series’ lead and supporting actors. Watching the series is akin to reading a short and compelling novel that gets everything right, and if you haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, you’re in for a treat on the first of this September.

The series’ plot takes place in 1898 when Print Ritter (Robert Duvall) and Tom Harte (Thomas Haden Church) come across five abused and abandoned Chinese girls being pursued by a group of kidnappers with sinister intentions. These veteran cowboys, tasked with delivering a herd of horses, must deal with the hoodlums while protecting the young women.

Ride with Norman Reedus Season 6 (Sep. 7)

Have you ever wondered how Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead survived the onslaught of zombies simply by riding on a motorcycle and using a crossbow as a weapon? Ride with Norman Reedus is your answer for that because it demonstrates Norman Reedus’ love for motorcycles and how he loves to hit open roads through a variety of his motorcycle collections.

The series has been on AMC+ for five seasons, with the sixth one set to arrive on Sep. 7. If you happen to love motorcycles and are a huge fan of Norman Reedus for his work on The Walking Dead series, you should check out the series before season 6 comes out.

Dark Winds Season 2 Finale (Sep. 8)

Remember how we talked about AMC+’s viewership taking a huge spike after the premiere of Dark Winds season 2? Apparently, the series is nearing the conclusion of its second season, and it has become grittier and more tense compared to the first one. If you enjoy watching TV shows that combine dark humor and mystery elements, Dark Winds may be exactly what you need to enjoy this weekend.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the plot, it follows Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) of the Navajo Nation, a remote outpost of Tribal Police, who, after coming across a series of unrelated crimes, begins to piece the clues together to uncover the perpetrators’ motives. Will he be able to solve it, though?

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (Sep. 10)

AMC

Although Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) is the main protagonist of The Walking Dead series, Daryl Dixon is a badass character who deserves his own spinoff, and we’re not complaining since he has an upcoming series.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is a new series consisting of twelve episodes that is set to be released on AMC+ this September. AMC+ describes the synopsis of the series as follows:

“In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”

The Terror Season 1 (Sep. 25)

The Terror series
AMC

The Terror is an anthology supernatural horror TV series that is loosely based on Dan Simmons’ 2007 novel of the same name. It aired for two seasons between 2018 and 2019, but AMC+ is only making the first season available for its subscribers, and it appears that we will have to wait for a while to watch the second season on the streamer.

This remarkable series follows the crew of a real-life Royal Naval expedition as they travel through the Arctic in search of the Northwest Passage but encounter a monstrous polar bear that stalks their ships day and night and becomes the source of their sleepless nights. However, they soon realize that the polar bear is the least of their worries as they are confronted by one supernatural entity after another, and they must learn to survive with the help of a tribal woman who lives as an outcast from her tribe.
