Target Corp. has recalled about 2.2 million candles sold over the past three years, citing potential laceration and burn hazards.
The recall involves certain Threshold Glass Jar 5.5-ounce 1-wick and 20-ounce 3-wick candles in multiple scents, sold Target stores and on Target’s website from February 2020 through July 2023, for between $3 and $12.

said via the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission that it has received 19 reports of the candle jar breaking or cracking during use. The company said it received one report of a minor injury.
The candles were made in Vietnam and imported by Target.
Separately, Sensio Inc. recalled about 860,000 Bella brand electric and stovetop pressure cookers, as the lids can unlock and be removed during use, posing a burn hazard.
The recall involves Bella, Bella Pro Series, Crux and Cooks electric pressure cookers and Bella stovetop pressure cookers, in several capacities.
Sensio said it has received 61 reports of burn injuries, including second- and third-degree burns to the face, arms, hands and torso.
The pressure cookers were sold at JCPenney’s, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Macy’s and Target stores and online at Amazon.com from September 2015 through September 2020, for between $30 and $70 for the electric cookers and for between $8 and $18 for the stovetop cookers.
The pressure cookers were made in China and imported by New York-based Sensio.
