Paul got married to his Brazilian girlfriend Karine Martins after their introduction in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Paul and Karine were a part of several spin-offs ever since owing to the never-ending chaos in their marriage. Cheating scandals, criminal pasts, and restraining orders plagued the couple’s lives, some even after the cameras stopped rolling.
Paul is back in the news now after Karine claimed that he’s gone missing in Brazil. InTouch reached out to Paul’s mom who has made appearances on 90 Day Fiancé, where she said, “I do not know anything as of right now.” She continued, “Still no responses from Paul since very late Wednesday night.” As per Mary, Paul was “lost” and pinged her his location so she could try and get a friend of his to help him. “He told me he messed up,” she added. Mary claims Paul was alone which was really “stupid” of him. His phone was also about to die.
Mary Hasn’t Heard From Paul Since Wednesday Night
Paul supposedly gave Mary “three names.” She sent messages to those three people for their urgent help. However, it was late in the night, so Mary didn’t receive any responses from them until morning. “I pray he is OK,” the worried mother added. She wonders if Paul is okay and just hasn’t found a way to communicate with them yet. “I have to believe that,” she said in conclusion. It was Karine who first shared news about Paul’s disappearance. She posted messages in Portuguese and English about Paul being in Brazil.
Karine’s next few updates on Instagram after sharing the shocking news were strange. She posted pictures of her pregnant belly. She even went on a shopping trip and shared pictures of her breakfast. But Karine then, just a few hours later, posted a video montage full of throwback pictures of herself with Paul and their two sons Pierre and Ethan. “Not all of our memories were bad. Our children loved you very much. We will never forgot you or the good memories we all shared,” Karine wrote in the caption. It was written in the past tense, and she made it look like Paul had died after going missing.
90 Day Fiancé viewers are eager to get any updates about Paul now. Karine hasn’t been able to provide new information just like his mother. The couple had split in December 2021 after a video surfaced online showing an alleged domestic violence altercation between them in their Kentucky house. The incident occurred while their two-year-old son Pierre was present in the room. The couple’s kids were put up for adoption. Paul and Karine got back together in April 2021 to fight the custody case. In that case, it is not known why Paul has been in Brazil since July 2023.
