TC (Stephen Hill) may not have been ready to see anyone while he was recovering after being shot — he didn’t even tell his mother what happened — but it’s time, on Magnum P.I., for him to deal with the consequences of that. On the list of people he wants to see now that he’s out of the rehab facility is Mahina (Emily Alabi), and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek of just that in the October 25 episode.
With encouragement from Sham (Christopher Thornton) and armed with flowers (which he worries isn’t enough), TC approaches Mahina at work. When she asks what he’s doing there, “I came to bring you flowers,” he says, then acknowledges he should’ve given her a heads up. “I just wanted to know if you had some time to talk.”
But “now you want to talk?” she asks. “I’ve been trying to reach you for the last six weeks. If it weren’t for Kumu, I never would’ve known you’d been hurt. You can’t just show up out of the blue after blowing me off like that.” As TC explains, “I didn’t want you to see me laid up. I didn’t think you’d want to.”
Mahina argues, “You don’t get to make those decisions for me, not when we’re supposed to be in a relationship.” That being said, she tells him it’s not the place for their conversation. TC asks if they can meet up later to talk things out. Watch the clip above for her answer.
In this week’s episode, “Night Has a Thousand Eyes,” in addition to TC trying to repair this relationship with Mahina after being released from the VA, Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Rick (Zachary Knighton) race to find a missing witness who can exonerate an innocent man accused of murder.
