An incident of gunfire at the Sapopemba State School in São Paulo, Brazil, resulted in the death of one student and injuries to three others. The crime took place on Monday morning, the 23rd, as confirmed by the São Paulo state government.
According to the State Department of Public Security, a 15-year-old student, armed, entered the school premises and opened fire. The authorities apprehended the teenager along with the weapon.
In total, three students were struck by gunfire. The victim who succumbed to injuries had been shot in the head, while two others sustained injuries to the chest and clavicle. Additionally, a fourth student was injured while attempting to escape during the attack, according to a statement released by the state government.

This marks the second incident of this nature in São Paulo city just this year. On March 27th, a 71-year-old teacher lost her life, and four others were injured in a stabbing attack by an eighth-grade student at Thomazia Montoro State School in the West Zone of São Paulo. The 13-year-old assailant was disarmed and taken to a Foundation Casa facility.
