How Bowie Jane’s HOH Reign Could Change The Game (Who Could She Nominate?)

Summary

  • Bowie Jane’s win in the Head Of Household competition has shifted the power in the Big Brother house, potentially changing the game entirely.
  • Bowie has been playing a floater game, intentionally throwing competitions to avoid difficult decisions and aligning with the majority of the houseguests.
  • Bowie’s nominations for eviction as HOH could shake up the alliances in the game, with a possibility of backdooring a competitive threat. She is a dark horse to win Big Brother 25.

Big Brother 25 has been a fascinating season of gameplay and the house could be shifting with Bowie Jane taking the Head Of Household title in the most recent episode. CBS’s long-running reality TV competition series, Big Brother has been returning to some of its classic twists and turns for the milestone season. The power has shifted in the house back and forth between two competitors for the majority of the game, and now that one of them has been evicted, the power shifted entirely after the most recent Head Of Household competition. Bowie Jane, a DJ from Los Angeles who originally hails from Australia, took the title and power.

Bowie, who has yet to make many moves on Big Brother 25, was an interesting winner as it’s been clear that she’s throwing competitions in order to not have to shift the power or show her cards in the game. Though Bowie has been fairly secure in her alliances, she’s wanted to play under the radar throughout the game and ultimately took the HOH title on a fluke against fellow houseguest Felicia Cannon in a tiebreaker question during Thursday’s live episode. While Bowie has the possibility for an easy week, she could make moves that would change the game entirely.

Bowie Jane Has Played A Classic Floater Game

Although some see it as a detriment, Bowie has been playing the ultimate floater game on Big Brother 25. She has been purposely throwing competitions in order to skirt by making difficult decisions and has, in some sense of another, aligned with the majority of the houseguests. She’s been playing a fairly good social game, getting information and distributing it when she needs to gain trust or find things out, but has stayed loyal to her allies Matt Klotz and Jag Bains. While Bowie is acting as though she’s aligned with Cameron Hardin, she’s aware he’s a loose canon who may not fully benefit her game.

Her HOH Nominations Could Prove To Shake Up The Alliances In The Game

While it isn’t likely that Bowie will put Cameron up for eviction immediately, it’s possible she could be persuaded to backdoor the competitive threat after the Power Of Veto competition. Bowie, who is closely aligned with Matt, Jag, Cory Wurtenberger, and America Lopez, has expressed concern about how much of a threat Cameron is in the game. For Bowie, the move would be incredibly risky, but it would ultimately be the best for her game. While Cameron isn’t targeting her, he is pushing several of her close allies against each other and making it tough for her to play the game she wants to.

Bowie has proven that she’s a competitive threat in her own right, coming close to winning the last several HOH competitions and winning the most recent one. With a competition win under her belt and a social game that allows her to move fluidly through the house and has yet to really see any of her fellow houseguests targeting her, Bowie is a dark horse to win Big Brother 25. With only a few more weeks of competition left, it’s anyone’s game to lose and Bowie may have just pushed herself over the competitive edge.

Big Brother 25 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EDT, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT, and Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
