Teresa Giudice’s stylist has been slammed for some of the choices she’s made on behalf of the Giudice familiar matriarch. However, there’s something potentially shadier going on that call for more than the fashion police.
If there’s a scandal in the entertainment world, you better believe that somehow, someway, there’s going to be a Real Housewives star who is tangentially involved. Unfortunately, this time, it’s Teresa Giudice who has been keeping some questionable company.
Here’s what happened: Cesar Piña was arrested for wire fraud and his role in an alleged real estate Ponzi scheme. The story is going super viral because DJ Envy from The Breakfast Club frequently had him on the show. So, there are endless amounts of incriminating clips of them describing their “work” of flipping houses and making general wealth as a landlord. They’d host seminars to sell people on their “business model,” and DJ Envy’s celebrity influence helped people fall victim to the scheme.
Cesar is out on bond, but he and his wife, Jennifer Piña now face over 20 lawsuits from misled investors. Fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey might recognize that name because she’s one of Teresa’s good friends.
Another scheme in New Jersey, this time possibly involving a Teresa Giudice stylist
According to the feds, Cesar was taking money to renovate and resell properties across New Jersey and other places. He promised a high return on investment within five months. However, according to a report from USA Today, he mismanaged some of those funds and used them for personal gain. He also allegedly scammed investors by seeking investments in properties that he didn’t even own. It’s fraud with a capital “F.”
With Teresa’s past, she should probably stay very far away from anyone who’s being accused of wire fraud. However, she and Jennifer go way back. They’re close friends, and she has also worked as her stylist.
Scrolling through her Instagram feed shows tons of pictures of her hanging with Teresa both personally and professionally. In one picture, you can see her in action at the Bravo Clubhouse, doing Teresa’s hair for a Watch What Happens Live appearance. In another photo, she’s smiling alongside Teresa, Gia Giudice, and Dolores Catania.
It seems like in recent years, Jennifer has shifted her career focus away from style and into the real estate business. Her Instagram bio reads, “Real Estate is my Sugar Daddy.” Regardless, she still seems to be very connected to Teresa and the rest of the RHONJ cast. Nearly everyone from the cast follows her on social media.
