The NYT echoes terrorists’ lies, Rashida Tlaib doubles-down on disinfo

Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions

Spot the difference:

The New York Times changed a headline multiple times after initially reporting that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza.

We say: Those headlines — changed from blaming Israel for killing hundreds to merely reporting an ambiguous “blast” — are clear evidence the Times (like much of the left-wing media) relies on terrorists for its info, even though they’re known to lie (and rape, murder and kidnap).

The paper obviously sees the terrorists as morally equal to their enemies.

After all, note its source: “Palestinians” — i.e., Hamas.

Only after the story began to fall apart, and the damage was done, did the Times omit its devastating accusation.

This tweet:

We say: Tlaib is a member of Congress whose words many trust.

Her tweet drew nearly 32 million views!

Yet it was a total lie: Overwhelming evidence, confirmed by Israeli and US officials, shows Israel did not bomb a hospital.

Rather, a failed rocket fired at Israel by Palestinian terrorists fell on a parking lot near a Gazan hospital (killing dozens, not 500).

Yet instead of apologizing, Tlaib doubled down: “We just continue to watch people think it’s OK to bomb a hospital,” she claimed. It’s beyond despicable.

This tweet:

Rep. Ilhan Omar shared a tweet that falsely claimed to show children killed by Israel.
Rep. Ilhan Omar shared a tweet that falsely claimed to show children killed by Israel.

We say: Tlaib wasn’t the only congresswoman to spread inflammatory disinfo.

Fellow Squad member Ilhan Omar similarly re-posted a fake tweet claiming Israel murdered 614 children, citing as evidence a photo that actually depicted victims of a gas attack launched by President Bashar al-Assad in Syria in 2013.

This response:

“Disinformation is involved here . . . I was concerned that the public not trust the Russians.”

— Ex-CIA Director Leon Panetta, Friday

We say: Asked if he regrets signing a letter in 2020 discounting The Post’s 100% true scoop on Hunter Biden’s laptop and if he believes the laptop wasn’t “real,” Panetta deflected.

Yet how could he have no regrets? Hunter himself has admitted the laptop was real.

And documents show the FBI knew it long before the story appeared, yet primed the media to dismiss it to protect Joe Biden.

If Panetta has no regrets, then he also has no scruples.
