Brian Grazer and Ron Howard‘s company, Imagine Documentaries, is set to premiere a new documentary focusing on the NFL team, the New England Patriots.
The Dynasty: New England Patriots details the historic 20-year run of the team, specifically focusing on how former quarterback Tom Brady, Coach Bill Belichick, and owner Robert Kraft shaped the team. The trio’s chemistry helped to propel the team to the top and win six Super Bowl games.
The 10-part series is based on the New York Times bestselling book of the same title by author Jeff Benedict. It will feature never-before-seen video footage and audio files from the Patriots, diving even deeper into the story first unveiled by Benedict. The series will also share interviews from past and present Patriots players, executives, coaches, league officials, and team rivals. The docuseries was produced in association with NFL Films and is directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Matthew Hamachek.
