Stephen Curry returns, but Warriors fall in OT to Thunder

Stephen Curry returned to the Golden State Warriors‘ lineup but couldn’t help them end their losing streak as they fell 130-123 to the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime Saturday.

Curry scored 25 points on 8-for-21 shooting and 5-for-11 from 3 in his first game since taking a hard fall Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Warriors led by three with 3.0 seconds after an Andrew Wiggins 3, but Chet Holmgren made a game-tying 3 of his own to send the game to overtime, where Oklahoma City outscored Golden State 13-6.

Golden State has now lost six straight games, including the past five at home.

Guard Gary Payton II didn’t play Saturday due to a strained muscle in his left foot. He is set to be reevaluated over the weekend.

Information from ESPN’s Kendra Andrews was used in this report.
