Director Zack Snyder recently opened up about his 2011 action fantasy, Sucker Punch, claiming that he "didn't go far enough" with the film and that, as a result, audiences completely missed the satire. While Snyder has received positive reactions for his work on films like Dawn of the Dead, 300, and Watchmen, the director's 2011 adventure movie proved to be a largely financial and critical disappointment. According to the Justice League director, he could have been more direct in conveying that the escapist action fantasy film was intended to be a satire and not something to take literally. In doing so, he believes that the project would have resonated better with those who saw it.
