Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.05% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the fell 0.05%.

The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 4.48% or 9.00 points to trade at 210.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE:) added 2.71% or 9.90 points to end at 375.30 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) was up 1.77% or 8.40 points to 481.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which fell 4.65% or 595.00 points to trade at 12,190.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) declined 4.55% or 570.00 points to end at 11,960.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was down 1.59% or 2.80 points to 173.40.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 67 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.30% or 0.98 to $74.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.01% or 0.82 to hit $80.03 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 22.05 to trade at $2,091.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.65% to 6.71, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.56% at 100.54.
