A new image from Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire teases the return of Bill Murray and Paul Rudd, as well as an iced-over ghost containment unit. Serving as a sequel to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the upcoming film is directed by Gil Kenan. The new movie takes the action back to New York City, with new and old cast members alike assembling to take down a formidable new enemy and a phenomenon known as the “death chill”.
Now, ahead of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire‘s 2024 release date, Empire has shared a new image from the movie, showing the best look yet at Murray’s Peter Venkman and Rudd’s Gary Grooberson, with both characters standing in front of a busted ghost containment unit at Ghostbusters headquarters.
