B&H Photo isn’t afraid to drop the prices of MacBooks by hundreds of dollars at a time, and this week the Apple Authorized Reseller has a closeout steal on Apple’s 16-inch MacBook Pro with 1TB storage, now $900 off.
Buyers looking for the largest screen real estate possible in an Apple laptop need to look no further than the 16-inch model. Coming in at $1,799, this model offers an affordable way to unlock more screen space for gaming, video editing, or photography.
The MacBook Pro on sale through B&H Photo comes with the M1 Pro chip with a 16-core GPU, 16GB of unified RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage — it has horsepower, but it won’t blow the doors off the hinges.
The big benefit of this MacBook Pro is the screen, featuring a 3456×2234 resolution Liquid Retina XDR display. It supports 1,000 nits of sustained full-screen brightness with a peak of 1,600 nits, plus a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and billion color dynamic range.
Additionally, the M1 MacBook Pro’s Pro Motion display has a 120Hz refresh rate with a P3 wide color gamut for precise colors, perfect for photo and video editing. The Thunderbolt 4 ports also allow for faster workflows, with up to 40Gb/s throughput.
The $900 discount drops the price of the 16-inch model to just $1,799, but the deal is valid on Jan. 31 only. To put the cost in perspective, the 1TB M3 Pro version is discounted to $2,499 in our M3 16-inch MacBook Pro Price Guide, a full $700 more than this blowout bargain.
