90 Day: The Single Life Season 4 had a lot of potential, but the premiere ended up falling short. Four singles from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise were introduced in the first episode—Chantel Everett, Tyray Mollett, Natalie Mordovtseva, and Debbie Aguero. Unfortunately, none of the singles hit it out of the park for viewers, and some even came off as desperate. From being hung up on exes to making poor life decisions, here are all of the problems we had with The Single Life Season 4 premiere!
Chantel Came Off As Extremely Desperate
Chantel’s segments were arguably among the most disappointing of the episode. While Chantel had the most screen time of the singles, her story was among the least entertaining. Fresh on the heels of her divorce from Pedro Jimeno, Chantel had the potential for a great storyline. Instead, Chantel treated the dating process extremely immaturely.
In order to celebrate a fresh start after her divorce, Chantel and her friends traveled to Greece for a fun trip. While there, Chantel’s friends challenged her to get the numbers of five different men. Chantel spent the night wandering around and chatting with any man who would look her way. The whole point of The Single Life is to find new lasting relationships, but Chantel did not make any efforts to do so. Instead, she is treating her Greece trip like a college spring break.
We Are Tired Of Natalie & Josh
Natalie is on her third season of The Single Life, but she hasn’t made much progress with her on and off again boyfriend, Josh Weinstein. Josh and Natalie left The Single Life Season 3 on a strange note, when Natalie ran to her ex-husband, Mike Youngquist, instead of Josh during the Tell-All. However, during the Season 4 premiere, Natalie decided to pack up and move to Los Angeles to be closer to Josh.
The decision quickly backfired, when Natalie realized Josh was not taking their relationship as seriously as she had hoped. Natalie claimed that she was homeless, since she and her mother were staying in a hotel temporarily. She yelled at Josh for not helping her to get set up with a car and a place to live, which he later reassured her he would. The whole thing just seemed irresponsible of Natalie, as she moved to LA without thinking about the technicalities of it first!
Tyray May Be In For Another Heartbreak
Tyray was one of the more enjoyable singles, and you just can’t help but root for him. After being catfished by Carmella, Tyray is ready to find a more authentic love in person. During the premiere, Tyray worked up the courage to ask out a woman named Tiffany, whom he had met at his aunt’s funeral. Tiffany accepted, but some viewers were not so sure about Tyray’s new love interest.
During her interview with producers, Tiffany seemed a little off. Despite just meeting Tyray, Tiffany acted like she had known him forever. Furthermore, Tiffany came off as somewhat fake when beaming about how much she liked Tyray, to the point it almost felt like an act. For Tyray’s sake, however, we hope that Tiffany is genuine and was just excited to be on camera!
Debbie Couldn’t Stop Talking About Oussama
The whole point of The Single Life is to move on from your previous partner, which proved to be a challenge for Debbie. During her two segments, Debbie could not stop herself from constantly bringing up her ex Oussama. Debbie and Oussama turned heads with their 43-year age gap, so it was no surprise when their relationship hit an abrupt end. Nonetheless, it appears that Debbie’s much younger ex is still on her mind all the time.
Debbie’s first bizarre mention of Oussama was when she went to check out an alpaca farm, where she asked the alpacas about Oussama. We can’t make this up! Later on in the episode, Debbie showed off her newest painting, which depicted Oussama as a skeleton. Debbie claimed that the reasoning behind this was that Oussama was dead to her, but her actions proved anything but!
