Issued on:
The 46-year-old centrist, whose words will be aired on several television channels from 8:15 pm (1915 GMT), is expected to set the course for France‘s youngest-ever prime minister, 34-year-old Gabriel Attal, after he was named to the position last week.
The press conference at the Élysée Palace will be the first question-and-answer session hosted by Macron in France for almost five years.
The president is expected to detail the key goals assigned to Attal and Cabinet members in order to bolster his legacy amid growing political pressure from the far right.
