Marvel Comics’ Anniversary Celebrations Coincide with Disney’s, Creating Myriad of Commemorations
Marvel has had numerous major milestones recently, including Spider-Man’s 60th anniversary back in 2022. The Avengers and the X-Men’s 60th anniversary celebrations began in 2023 and are continuing into 2024. Given the popularity and influence these superhero groups have had on comics, as well as Marvel’s merger with Disney, it stands to reason both groups would combine their celebrations in fun ways. This allows fans of both to have new ways to enjoy their combined fandoms with these incredible throwback homages and expand the collections that started with the Disney 100 crossover variants. These covers began in January and will continue throughout 2024.
Amazing Spider-Man #47 will be available April 10 from Marvel Comics.
