Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards is not as close to some of her castmates as she used to be. She actually felt compelled to distance herself from some of them during Season 13.
She addressed the situation during a January 23 Amazon Live stream, a few days before filming the RHOBH Season 13 reunion. A fan asked, “Who do you think you’re going to butt heads with the most at the reunion?”
“[For sure,] I have the most to address with Sutton [Stracke],” Kyle said with a huge sigh. “I think I just need answers, really, more than anything. I don’t know why she came to me like I had done something wrong to her when I was just struggling and could’ve used a friend.”
Why Kyle needed to distance herself from RHOBH cast
Sutton wasn’t the only one from whom Kyle needed some space. Later in the livestream, another fan asked if there were other castmates she had stopped speaking to.
“Well, yeah,” she responded. “I mean, I’m not saying I wouldn’t talk to them, I just haven’t. You know, when you’re going through a hard time, you just want to surround yourself with people that make you feel good. And some people weren’t making me feel good, so that’s why.”
Going into the reunion, Kyle had been hopeful that she could reconcile with her castmates. But she did warn viewers that reunions can take unexpected turns. We’ll just have to wait and see how everything plays out.
Following the reunion, Kyle’s goal is “to put any hard feelings behind us and move forward,” the mom of four explained. “I never like leaving a reunion still not feeling good. Or even worse, in a worse place than when we arrived there.”
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
