These are common emotions when it comes to puberty, as many can feel as though they are the only ones going through the complicated changes associated with coming of age.
The song is not the only thing, though, that really captures that experience. Riley’s braces and the gross mouthguard scene, for example, help to set the scene and portray how awkward these times can be for many.
