Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 1.25% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:), which rose 5.57% or 300.00 points to trade at 5,689.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) added 4.82% or 104.00 points to end at 2,260.00 and Harel (TASE:) was up 4.23% or 134.00 points to 3,299.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell 5.97% or 1,790.00 points to trade at 28,210.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.52% or 3,200.00 points to end at 87,660.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.29% or 160.00 points to 12,230.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 298 to 153 and 85 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.60% or 2.04 to $76.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.50% or 2.09 to hit $80.80 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 15.10 to trade at $2,045.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.04% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.05% to 3.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 103.90.
