Jacob Elordi, who has seen his star rise considerably after appearing in films like Priscilla and Saltburn, has found himself involved in a police investigation following an alleged altercation with a radio producer. According to Australia’s Daily Telegraph, Elordi was hanging at a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with friends when he had an encounter with Joshua Fox, a producer on the KIIS FM radio series The Kyle and & Jackie O Show.
Fox detailed the events on the show and revealed that he asked Elordi if he could have some of his bathwater for Jackie O’s birthday, a reference to a NSFW viral scene in Saltburn involving himself and Barry Keoghan. When the actor asked him to stop filming, he obliged, but he refused to delete the footage. Something that allegedly set Elordi off:
“I refuse to because I feel uncomfortable right now and this is the only evidence. And then Jacob kind of just flips and he kind of pushes me against the wall and his hands are on my throat.”

New South Wales Police Now Looking into the Alleged Assault Involving Jacob Elordi
Fox also alleged that Elordi’s two friends that were with the actor were on both sides of him as he got closer to his face and more aggressive. The radio producer states that the altercation ended when one of Elordi’s friends pulled him away, but it’s clear that Fox didn’t want to delete the footage because he felt he was being intimidated by the actor. The New South Wales Police have since released a statement that confirmed they are investigating the matter.
“Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Easter Suburbs. The man did not sustain injuries. Inquires into the incident is continuing”
News of this alleged encounter comes as Elordi is arguably one of the busiest actors of his generation. He gained critical notoriety for his roles in Priscilla and Saltburn, the latter of each earning him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the BAFTA Film Awards as well as their Rising Star Award. The actor is still attached to the third season of HBO’s Euphoria, which is still being written, and he also has Paul Schrader’s Oh, Canda on deck as well as the role of “The Monster” in Guillermo del Toro’s Netflix film, Dr. Frankenstein.
As of this writing, Elordi nor his representatives have responded regarding Fox’s claims of assault.
