Palworld, the smash-hit survival title created by indie developer PocketPair, has taken the world by storm, amassing an impressive 19 million player count in a short period. Though the focus of the game has mainly been on the 100+ cute Pals that are catchable in the title and the game’s different public controversies, as a survival game — there’s one thing that people will do, and that’s construct some pretty impressive Palworld compounds. Though Palworld‘s building mechanics aren’t the most complex in a survival game, the sheer amount of freedom one has when building allows for some pretty eye-catching structures.
One user on Reddit named u/Commercial_Neck8986 took things to the extreme and re-created Paradis Island from the iconic anime Attack on Titan. A city constructed to keep the ravenous and cannibalistic Titans out, Paradis Island is made up of three different walls named Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina that surround the island’s capital. These walls are meant to serve as a defense against the Titans that roam around in the countryside, the same creatures that the anime’s protagonist, Eren Jaeger, trains to defeat. The re-creation of this locale is pretty astounding and accurate.
This Palworld-building feat is even more spectacular considering the sheer scale of the compound. In Attack on Titan, each wall of the island is comprised of several districts with their own unique and interesting histories, with Wall Sina alone being comprised of seven distinct districts. Though the build may not seem all that impressive when viewed high up from the back of the player’s Frostallion, the size of everything gets put into perspective when they land down on the ground.

Palworld wears its many inspirations on both sleeves, but this monster-catching open-world survival sim could have some serious legs.
Palworld Players Are Getting Creative
Building In Palworld Is Not Perfect
It’s not only Attack on Titan that’s providing inspiration for impressive Palworld structures. People have gotten creative, constructing a range of impressive Palworld base designs that are both impressive and aesthetically pleasing. Everything from classic castles and cottages to more modern architecture has been tinkered with, with more creative examples sure to be created as the game receives regular updates. That said, a limited number of building parts and some frustrating snapping (or lack thereof) currently limit the range of Palworld‘s most ambitious architects.
All Bosses In Palworld, Ranked By Difficulty
A tough tower boss leads each faction in Palworld, and beating them is among the toughest challenges to overcome in the hit survival title.
Hopefully, PocketPair will pick up on the popularity of its base building and the freedom it provides and update the game with more building pieces to make more advanced-looking structures. Though there is a wide range of different furniture options available in Palworld, the ability to build round or curved structures would greatly enhance the building experience. Partial walls or differently shaped floors and ceilings exponentially add to design potential and shouldn’t be too hard to implement in the hit survival and creature-collecting title.
