Love is in the air! Peacock just announced that their dating show Queens Court is returning for Season 2 later this year with an all-new cast.
Queens Court follows a trio of celebrity single ladies who embark on a journey of love. A bevy of confident, successful men get trotted in front of them. The queens dwindle them down to find their perfect match. The official logline for the show says the Queens must “let go of past heartbreak, embrace new connections, and find a man worthy of sharing their throne.”
Bring on the Queens
In a press release, Peacock confirmed that Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete will return as the hosts for Season 2. They’re supposed to be “couple goals” that help inspire the daters to make the right connection.
Season 1 of Queen’s Court featured Tamar Braxton, Evelyn Lozada, and Nivea. Tamar and Evelyn wound up engaged to guys they met on the show. However, Tamar and her man ended up crashing and burning a few months into their engagement. The success rate isn’t great, but our fingers are crossed that the ladies of Season 2 have better luck.
Peacock hasn’t announced the cast of Season 2, but we know there are plenty of single celebrities out there who are itching for a few minutes on reality TV and thirsting for love. The show films in Atlanta, so perhaps we’ll see a Real Housewives of Atlanta star in the lineup this time around. Could you imagine Kenya Moore or Cynthia Bailey on a dating show like this?
We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for casting details on Season 2 of Queens Court. In the meantime, you can catch up on Season 1 on Peacock.
Season 2 of Queens Court premieres on Peacock in Summer 2024.
