There’s a new face joining the Fab Five. When Queer Eye returns for Season 9, fans can expect to see Jeremiah Brent replace Bobby Berk. After eight seasons and a handful of Emmys, Bobby announced his exit back in November 2023. Now, Netflix is ready to usher in a new era of Queer Eye with Jeremiah.
Jeremiah joins the Fab Five
Deadline first announced the news about Jeremiah’s casting. Honestly, if you didn’t hear it from Deadline, is it even true? In their article, they described Jeremiah as an “interior designer and founder of Jeremiah Brent Design and lifestyle brand Atrio.” You probably also know him as Nate Berkus’ husband.
Of course, Jeremiah has established himself in the home design space outside of his relationship with Nate. He has his lifestyle brand, he’s appeared in Architectural Digest, and he has a million followers on Instagram. He’s the real deal, and he’s ready to utilize his skills to help transform lives with the rest of the Fab Five.
When is Season 9 of Queer Eye?
Season 9 of Queer Eye will kick off production later this Spring with the Fab Five setting up shop in Las Vegas. The rest of the cast will return, including Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, and Karamo Brown. Apparently, Bobby thought they were all quitting after Season 8.
“We thought we were done,” Bobby revealed in a recent interview. “I thought we all moved on. I know I did, and I started planning other things.”
Notably, this is the first time a member of the Fab Five has been replaced. The original cast of Queer Eye stayed intact throughout their five-season run, which is part of why their chemistry remains unmatched to this day. The Netflix group established similar chemistry, and it’s just as crucial to the show as the sob stories and makeovers. It will be interesting to see how Jeremiah blends in with the rest of the group when Queer Eye returns for Season 9.
TELL US – ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING JEREMIAH ON QUEER EYE SEASON 9? DO YOU THINK THE FAB FIVE WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE THE SAME CHEMISTRY?
