Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the added 0.14% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the were National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.97% or 3.20 points to trade at 35.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.90% or 13.20 points to end at 146.60 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) was up 9.84% or 9.50 points to 106.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:), which fell 5.28% or 20.80 points to trade at 372.80 at the close. Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:) declined 3.91% or 9.60 points to end at 236.00 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) was down 3.18% or 0.85 points to 25.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 197 to 84 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.84% or 9.50 to 106.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.84% or 0.65 to $78.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.81% or 0.67 to hit $83.53 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 10.60 to trade at $2,025.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 104.20.
