Southern Hospitality has been all the crave, and it’s so worth it. This crew of Charleston friends knows how to live it up during the day while busting their tails at night, bartending, and serving at Leva Bonaparte’s establishment, Republic Garden & Lounge. Of course, along the way, there’s also drama between this group of friends. One of Season 2’s most prominent storylines involves Bradley Carter, Maddi Reese, and her statement during Season 1, alleging Bradley was receiving oral sex by a dumpster in an alley.
Later, Bradley revealed his then-girlfriend dumped him over the rumors. However, Maddi never changed her stance. Fast forward to the group’s trip to Miami this season, the truth was revealed when Grace Lilly said she never saw what Maddi claimed to witness. So, how does Bradley feel now? Read on to find out.
Bradley shares his thoughts about Maddi and slams Joe Bradley
“It’s satisfying to finally have it all cleared up,” Bradley told Decider regarding the rumor Maddi spread about him. “Also, it’s just nice to finally see Maddi having to eat her words.”
Although that was a victory for the Body by Brad founder, one major disapointment on the trip was learning his friend, Joe Bradley, shared private text messages from him with Maddi.
“Despite whatever other messages were in there, we were genuinely concerned about her,” Bradley said. “Someone’s health is nothing to joke about. It’s not funny. But what is funny is how conveniently Joe left out all of the things that he was saying about Maddi, too.”
Other cast members, like Emmy Sharrett and Will Kulp, called Joe out for talking poorly about Maddi, including calling her narcissistic.
“I got to be careful about what I say around Joe, which sucks because we have such a close friendship,” Bradley said. “When you break someone’s trust, especially in a friendship, you have to rebuild that.”
It’s only a matter of time before they bury the hatchet on this feud, but before they do, Bradley teased the upcoming reunion will be quite the show, adding Joe Bradley will be “held accountable.”
Southern Hospitality continues on Thursdays at 9/8c.
