The weekend is here and with it comes a new Connections puzzle. Here are the February 17th category hints, and fully spoiled answers.
The weekend begins with a brand new Connections puzzle to solve and the groupings in today’s categories might just cause a few players to lose their long-standing win streaks. Some days just seem harder than others with this type of game as you never know what someone’s knowledge base may be.
Connections has always done a decent job of keeping a diverse selection of categories that fit with most people’s general knowledge. There is also the “Save for last” strategy that allows you to get away with not knowing a specific category, as long as you can get the other three correct. Short daily word games like this, and fellow New York Times game Wordle, can make for a perfect morning break before you start your day.

Another fairly easy category despite it being purple. FLEA and MEDIA stood out quickly and locked in the ‘Circus’ theme. With those solved it didn’t take long to connect the dots and score a win for the day.
