If you’re based in Detroit, this is a great opportunity to score a deal on flights to or from Europe, or even further abroad, in premium economy.Â
For example, you can fly from Detroit to Europe in premium economy for as little as 26,250 Flying Blue miles. It doesn’t get much cheaper than that for a transatlantic flight in premium economy.
It’s a similar story to fly between Houston and Europe in economy, which prices out at 15,000 Flying Blue miles at the lowest level.
Promo Reward tickets are available for one-way and round-trip flights, allowing for flexibility in your travel plans. Promo Reward discounts are only applicable on the lowest standard award pricing when available, and not on dynamically priced flight segments.Â
Keep in mind that Flying Blue Promo Rewards come with a booking deadline. You must book the March 2024 Promo Rewards during the month of March; however, the travel window extends all the way through August 31, 2024.
How to Earn Flying Blue Miles
You can earn Air France KLM Flying Blue miles by booking flight tickets on Air France, KLM, and its SkyTeam partners.
Additionally, in Canada, you can transfer Amex MR points at a 1:0.75 ratio, which can be earned via the entire suite of American Express Membership Rewards credit cards.Â
There’s also the Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard by Brim Financial; however, it currently comes without a welcome bonus in the form of miles.
Furthermore, you can apply for the Bank of America Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard, and earn a welcome bonus of 50,000 miles.
Lastly, when you transfer 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points to Flying Blue, you’ll get a bonus of 5,000 miles on top of the usual 3:1 ratio, for a total of 25,000 Flying Blue miles.Â
