Morgan Wade’s music video with Kyle Richards is being scrutinized once again, this time at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion. For those who have forgotten, Morgan shot a romantic music video with Kyle amid their romance rumors.
The two explained the choice to film such a suggestive video in the face of the online gossip mill. They described the video as an attempt to troll everyone who was making their relationship something that it wasn’t.
In Kyle’s words: “Well, if they’re gonna talk, you might as well give them something to talk about.” If the video was just an attempt at engagement, it worked, with fans losing their minds over the on-screen kiss between the women. But according to Kyle, it was her first.
Kyle did Morgan’s music video as a favor
In a preview clip ahead of Part 3 of the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, Andy Cohen asked Kyle, “The purpose of that music video was what?”
Kyle responded, “She was on tour at the time, and then she was going to be playing at Stage Coach, and she said, ‘I want to come do this for you. To support you for, you know, the event for Lorene.’” Kyle was referring to her memorial event for the late Lorene Shea with the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Morgan played at the event to support Kyle, while Mauricio Umansky skipped it.
In return, Morgan asked Kyle to be in one of her music videos. Kyle further explained, “I didn’t really know the creative behind it until I got there.” The claim was unlikely and Erika Jayne gave a glance of skepticism.
Kyle went on, “I said to the director, ‘Um, I’ve never actually like, kissed anybody on camera. Let alone a woman. Or off-camera. So, I was very nervous and, you know, anxious. But, I mean, if I’m being honest with myself, I was obviously curious in order to say yes.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion concludes Wednesday, March 13, at 8/7c on Bravo.
