The Traitors US season 2 contestant Phaedra Parks is speaking out about her fellow Traitor Kate Chastain’s betrayal during the round table discussion that led to her banishment, implying that Kate doesn’t have the same moral compass that she does. After Traitors Dan Gheesling and Parvati Shallow were banished from the castle, Phaedra recruited Kate and she accepted. However, Kate turned on Phaedra when Phaedra became a target, and Kate felt that she was doing more to save her than Phaedra herself. She called her “selfish” at the round table and voted to banish her.
In an interview with ExtraTV, The Traitors US season 2 contestant Phaedra said that Kate got “personal,” and “it was a little weird.” She thought that Kate wanted her to turn on Sandra Diaz-Twine, but Phaedra’s “very loyal,” and, when she took the oath, she was going to play the game fairly.
Phaedra said that she wouldn’t have had a problem with any of the remaining players winning, so she wasn’t going to turn on someone because she wanted to save herself. She didn’t think that was fair. Phaedra said, “And I didn’t want to turn on Kate like Dan did on me. So some of us have morals.”

Phaedra Parks Reveals Who Should Win The Traitors Season 2
Phaedra shared that she hopes that MJ Javid wins The Traitors season 2 because she played a good game. She also said that she’d love for Shereé Whitfield to win for the same reason. Phaedra expressed that, of course, she wants her “family members” from Bravo to win. However, she added that CT Tamburello “has been excellent,” and has played “the best game.” Phaedra said that CT “has just been the knight in shining armor the whole time, so I would not be mad if he won either.”
Kate did try to save Phaedra by planting seeds about Sandra possibly being a Traitor, but the evidence against Phaedra was too strong. Kate became frustrated when she felt as though she were fighting harder for Phaedra to stay than Phaedra herself. She didn’t want to stick her neck out too far for Phaedra because then people might’ve become suspicious of her. However, Kate didn’t have to go as far as she did at the round table and get personal, especially since Phaedra’s fate seemed sealed at that point any way.
Although MJ and Shereé have played less aggressively than some of the other competitors, there’s something to be said for contestants who manage to stay off the radar for the entire game. They managed to remain in the game until the season finale with no real suspicion of them being Traitors. If they put their trust in Sandra, they can team up together and easily figure out that Kate is the last remaining Traitor. Although it would be nice to see them win, Phaedra is right that CT has played one of the best games, and he also deserves to be crowned the champion of The Traitors US season 2.
