The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live starts strong, breaking AMC’s viewership records. Consisting of six episodes, the latest Walking Dead spinoff sees Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira reprise their roles as Rick Grimes and Michonne. It premiered on February 25 on both AMC and AMC+.
Deadline reports that the premiere episodes of The Ones Who Live garnered 3 million viewers after three days of availability. It has become the biggest premiere night audience for a new AMC series in six years, since 2018’s premiere of The Terror. In terms of streaming, the spinoff is now the most-watched episode of any show ever on AMC+.
