Super Bowl rings may not be the only thing that adorn Bill Belichick’s finger in the future.
A source told Page Six that Belichick and his girlfriend Jordan Hudson “definitely discussed marriage” while also indicating that “they would definitely get a prenup” if they were to walk down the aisle.
The couple, which has a 49-year age gap between Belichick, 72, and Hudson, 23, just celebrated their four-year “Meetiversary” from their chance encounter on a flight from Boston to Florida where the two first fell for each other.
The relationship has made plenty of headlines since their pairing first surfaced last summer, though they’ve been linked romantically since 2022.
Engagement rumors have swirled since Super Bowl week when Hudson was photographed multiple times with a ring on her ring finger that could be deciphered as an engagement ring.
While some could see the relationship moving to that next stage because of how long it has gone on, the Page Six source said Hudson “hasn’t put any pressure on Bill at all to propose, and she feels like it will happen when and if the time is right.”
Belichick has previously married, tying the knot to ex-wife Debby Clarke in 1977.
They had three children — Steve and Brian followed their father into football while daughter Amanda became a lacrosse coach at Holy Cross — before calling it quits in 2006.
He began dating Linda Holliday in 2007, and the couple’s breakup became public in 2023.
While the age difference between Belichick and Hudson has raised eyebrows and made the pair the butt of jokes — Snoop Dogg poked fun at the relationship during the NFL Honors award show in New Orleans last week — Belichick “couldn’t care less” about it,” Page Six reported previously.
“Jordon is an old soul so she and Bill connect on a deep level. Age is just a number to them,” a source told the outlet at the time.
The relationship came to light ahead of Belichick’s first season not on an NFL sideline in nearly a half-century and as he attempted to revamp his public image through multiple media projects.
The man who led the Patriots to six Super Bowl titles will embark on a new journey this year, not just in his private life, but in his coaching career as he gets set to coach at the University of North Carolina.
Belichick became the football program’s new head coach in November, with Hudson by his side at the introductory press conference.
