Daredevil: Born Again recently debuted its first two episodes earlier this week in New York, with cast and crew in attendance as audiences got to experience the revival series for the very first time. In a much-needed win for Marvel Studios, the first reactions to the new series were nothing but positive, calling Born Again a return to form for Marvel Television, making it feel as if the characters never left our screens. Filled with plenty of brutality and compelling storytelling, the beginning of the season is seemingly a promising start to the series. Thankfully, fans will have plenty more to look forward to with Season 2 already greenlit and set to release in 2026, and at least one star in the supporting cast has now confirmed their return.
In a red carpet interview with ET, Deborah Ann Woll
, who played Karen Page in the three seasons of television on Netflix and now returns for Daredevil: Born Again, confirmed that she would be back for the second season, which begins filming in New York soon. The actor also praised the next season’s writing, saying:
“The scripts are amazing. I am deeply honored to be part of the storyline that Dario [Scardapane] has written. I am impressed and thrilled.”

Disney+ and Marvel Television must be very confident in Daredevil: Born Again to have already begun production on the second season before the first episodes of the first season have even hit the streaming service. Following the cancelation of the Netflix series after the end of Daredevil Season 3, there was plenty of fan outcry, as many believed that Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, and Deborah Ann Woll are now the quintessential versions of the characters.
Karen Page Lives to Fight Another Day in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2
Knowing that Karen Page is returning for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is also reassuring, as the character has been famously known in the comics to be a victim of Daredevil’s rogues gallery, particularly Bullseye. With Wilson Bethel also returning to the series as Ben Pointdexter/Bullseye, there was always the chance that Karen could be found in his crosshairs in a recreation of the comics. However, Page will seemingly live to fight another day while providing more fantastic chemistry with Cox’s Murdock and Henson’s Foggy Nelson. The latter of which may not be so lucky…
Deborah Ann Woll will also hopefully have more of a role in other Disney+ projects, such as the Marvel Studios Special Presentation focused on The Punisher, which was recently announced as in development. In the second season of the character’s Netflix series, Karen Page is shown to have a special friendship with Frank Castle, and it would be a shame if that development weren’t utilized in future stories centered around Jon Bernthal’s character. It’s currently unknown if Daredevil: Born Again will extend past its two seasons.
Besides the second season of Born Again, it will be exciting to see what other Marvel actors formerly under the Netflix umbrella could possibly return in some capacity on Disney+ or in a feature film. It’s been a long road to get Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and the rest of the supporting cast back into the MCU fold, but if first reactions are anything to go by, it was well worth the wait.
