Deal or No Deal Island Season 2, Episode 6 Recap

Season 3 of Deal or No Deal Island continues to leave viewers on the edge of their seats. With nine players still left in the game, who is shaping up to be the Banker’s ultimate adversary?

Last time, Dr. Will purposely lost the high-flying hammock challenge so that he could play the Banker. Lete agreed to let him play, but the High-Five alliance wanted to strike the Family. After a crazy performance in The Temple, Dr. Will followed the plan and sent home Maria-Grace Cook (M.G.). So, let’s jump into the Season 2, Episode 6 recap of Deal or No Deal Island, “Power Grab.”

Does Dr. Will have David’s number on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2?

Back at camp, no one appreciated Dr. Will’s antics, but Lete, Seychelle, and CK were pleased that Dr. Will sent home M.G. Naturally, David felt bad that M.G. gave him immunity. And he felt strange about pretending to be someone he’s not. Unlike Dr. Will, who gives us chaotic energy 24/7.

The next morning, David felt better and was focused on sending Dr. Will home. So, Dr. Will strolled over with his teacup. He looks so fancy! David told Will that he was gunning for him after what he did to M.G.

“What show did you win?” Dr. Will asked. “Did you win Survivor Australia?” Of course, David denied it, but Dr. Will knows that he is too good at this game.

Meanwhile, Parvati tried to clear the air with Phillip. However, she mentioned that Dr. Will may have “bullied’ Phillip. “To weaponize someone’s childhood trauma that they chose to share with you … she went low, and she didn’t have to,” Phillip said in his confessional. In Phillip’s eyes, he saw The Black Widow come out. And, CK and Lete were starting to form an alliance. Welp.

The players met host and Games Master Joe Manganiello on a floating platform, and he chuckled at the player’s reaction. This time, the Banker is testing the contestants’ power. There are three platforms, with cases hanging over the water. However, to get a case, the player must jump off the platform and pull off the ring suspended from it. Yikes!

But wait, there’s more! Each contestant is claiming a case for another player. The tallest platform has four high cases, and whoever has one of those has immunity at The Temple. The second platform has four low-value cases, and whoever has those is at risk of facing the Banker and elimination. The platform that has the least height has two mid-value cases. One has safety, and one has the “Banker’s bust.” Whoever has the bust is also in danger of elimination.

Phillip was nervous, and Joe picked his name first. He selected a high-value case for Lete. While Lete wanted to get a case for Phillip, CK pressured Lete to get her a case. CK even threatened to end their alliance. WOW.

Meanwhile, CK targeted Dickson, and she grabbed a low-value case. While CK picked who would go next, she looked in the box and pulled Lete’s name. “I’m not cool with cheating, man,” Lete stated. “It changes everything.”

Joe called CK out, and she had to draw names again. Even Dr. Will was disgusted by CK cheating, and that’s saying something. She selected Dr. Will. He was playing for Seychelle, but he missed the high-value case. Once again, he threw the competition to play The Banker. He plans to play every week so he can take out Parvati and David. Isn’t throwing a challenge sort of cheating?

Next up was Seychelle, who tried to grab a high-value case for La Shell. She was terrified of heights and was crying. When it was time to grab the ring, she missed by a wide margin. So, Dickson went next, and he grabbed a low-value case for CK.

Parvati told David that Lete was going to jump for Phillip. She advised David to get a case for Phillip, and then Lete would jump for him. So, David asked Lete, and she agreed. In a stunning move, Parvati jumped for a high-value case for Dr. Will. She didn’t want him to play the Banker, and she succeeded.

David went next, and he landed a high-value case for Phillip. Next up was Lete, and she grabbed the high-value case for David. “Everyone here is a bunch of sickos,” CK muttered to Dr. Will. She was done with people lying.

When La Shell jumped for Seychelle she missed a mid-value case. There is one final round, and Seychelle, Parvati, and La Shell have to jump because they don’t have a case. If they miss again, they will be in jeopardy at The Temple.

Finally, Seychelle opted to not jump again and put herself at risk. Finally, Parvati and La Shell jump for each other. They both landed a mid-value case.

Lete, Will, David, and Phillip possessed the high-value cases. Once again, Lete’s case has the highest value, with $3.5 million. Parvati and La Shell open their cases, and La Shell has the “Banker’s bust,” so she is up for elimination, along with CK, Dickson, and Seychelle.

CK wants to play the Banker, and she is furious at Lete for not trying to protect her. Then CK spilled all of her secrets to Parvati and Dickson. Mainly, that Phillip was part of blindsiding M.G., and that Seychelle was targeting the Family, along with Lete and Will.

The fact that there was another alliance surprised Parvati, and her mind was blown that CK was sharing this information. “I’ve never seen someone spiral this hard, this fast,” Parvati remarked. Plus, CK plans to call everyone out, and Parvati is on board with this mission. Poor CK wants to blow up everyone’s game and “restart.” Good luck with that plan.

Then CK went to talk to Lete, and Lete was emotional that CK tried to control her game. In CK’s eyes, the order of who was picked didn’t matter. They were supposed to stick together. However, Lete was still angry that CK cheated. So, if she does play the Banker and win, Lete asked CK if she would send Dickson home, and she agreed.

Who will face the Banker in The Temple?

Courtney “CK” Kim faces off against the Banker in Deal or No Deal Island Season 2, Episode 6.

CK wanted to play the Banker to show her integrity after the cheating incident. Then she called out Seychelle, Dr. Will, Lete, and Phillip for being architects of the plan to send home M.G. “Let me tell you, if you stay, I’m coming for your head,” Lete replied.

Then CK said she was fine with leaving the game because it caused her to “question her own integrity.” Of course, David believed that the plan to take out M.G. originated with Dr. Will. Everyone is underestimating Seychelle’s gaming skills.

Now onto the game! CK picked case number eight as her case. She had to open four cases and knocked two high numbers off the board. The Banker’s first offer was for $351,000, and CK decided to pass.

The Banker’s next offer was $656,000, and CK again declined it. She knocked off one high and one low-value case. The Banker likes CK’s “moxie,” and her offer is now $925,000.

Suddenly, Phillip was acting uncomfortable, and CK asked if it was because David saved him after Phillip helped send home M.G. He responded by saying if CK goes low, he won’t go higher. Instead, he’ll “go underground.” Phillip added, “So, I’m telling you right now, you don’t want to start this!” Everyone was stunned by Phillip’s spicy reaction. It’s getting hot in The Temple, folks!

Tune in next week to find out what happens!

Deal or No Deal Island continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
